WebMar 3, 2014 · I play with mods so the MCM is a must. Usually it installs just fine, but for some reason it's not working now. With a completely fresh vanilla install of New Vegas I installed NVSE, and installed the MCM with the Fallout Mod Manager. When I get ingame a notification comes up saying "The Mod Configuration Menu has been installed". WebSolved my own problem, but will leave it here in case anyone googles this. I googled it myself, and saw tons of people having the problem (sometimes spontaneously) with non-steam versions of the game. The short answer is to stop using FOMM (or start using Steam again). The Nexus still has the old version of the New Vegas Mod Manager.
